Adapted to your vehicle type
Driving physics, cockpit controls and field of view are modelled on your wheeled vehicles, protected transport vehicles or medical vehicles.
Driving simulation for armed forces
The SIFAT military driving simulator trains military drivers, logistics personnel and operational staff under realistic conditions – adapted to your vehicle type, your region and your location. Fast learning, without risk to personnel, materiel or mission.

SIFAT
In an authentic simulation environment, safe driving behaviour, reaction speed and decision-making are trained under changing operational conditions. On request we integrate the simulator into original or custom-built vehicle cabins.

USP
Not an off-the-shelf product: every system is tailored to the mission, fleet and training objectives of your organisation.
Driving physics, cockpit controls and field of view are modelled on your wheeled vehicles, protected transport vehicles or medical vehicles.
Terrain profiles, climate zones, traffic rules and local settings are modelled on your area of operations – from alpine passes to desert tracks.
Candidates get to know several vehicle types in less time and drive them safely. Repeatable scenarios, objective assessment and targeted error analysis shorten familiarisation and licence training considerably.
Cockpit, control logic and handling of new vehicles are taught in the simulator – no vehicle availability, workshop slot or training ground required.
Instead of 1:1 in the vehicle, a single instructor supervises more than 30 trainees a day – training capacity grows without extra staff.
The trainee starts the system alone and works through exercises with rising difficulty levels at their own pace, according to experience and training status.
Every run is monitored live from the operator station: watch along, inject situations, intervene and debrief immediately – across all seats at once.
No fuel, no wear, no hazard. Critical situations are trained before they occur in the field.
Rental and staged models allow training to start without lengthy procurement procedures.
Planning, installation, instructor training, maintenance and software updates from one source.
Models
Stationary, mobile, real cabin or MR – four configurations, one consistent training concept.

Compact. Cost-efficient. Ready to use.
The ideal solution for organisations that value proven technology and economic efficiency. A realistic entry into driving simulation – reliable, space-saving and easy to integrate into existing training programmes. The modular design keeps the system up to date.
View simulator models
Flexible. Location-independent. Everywhere.
Fully installed in a van or trailer, deployable wherever training takes place – without setup or fixed infrastructure. Particularly suited to multi-site networks and training directly with the troops.
View simulator models
Real hardware. Real driving feel.
In an original cabin – for example of a truck or operational vehicle – drivers experience realistic scenarios with authentic controls and spatial feel. Outside views via seamlessly joined screens or projection surfaces.
View simulator models
Deeper immersion. Closer to reality.
The MR system runs standalone or integrated into existing stationary systems. Instructors switch between classic display and immersive MR depending on the training objective.

MR, not VR
MR blends the real cabin, your hands and the original controls into the virtual operational picture. The soldier stays in the vehicle – not in a sealed-off fantasy world.
Transfer, not habituation
What is learned in MR training holds in the real vehicle – same grips, same seating position, same lines of sight.
Faster learning
Mistakes become visible inside the situation and are corrected immediately, not only in the debrief of an abstract VR run.
Any theatre at the push of a button
Region, location, weather and threat level change in seconds – no vehicle, fuel or training ground required.
Scalable and protected
Mobile, space-saving and operable in a closed network – no cloud dependency.
Experience MR on your vehicle type
We demonstrate MR on your vehicle profile and your area of operations – live at your site or as a scheduled demo.

FAQ
The simulator creates realistic training situations in which drivers learn to stay calm and focused under pressure. Reaction, decision-making and safe driving behaviour improve measurably.
High-risk situations can be trained safely. Mistakes have no consequences, scenarios can be repeated at will and assessed objectively.
Both novice and experienced drivers. New drivers gain first experience in a safe environment; experienced drivers refine routines and reactions in demanding situations.
SIFAT delivered 30 truck driving simulators to the Swiss Armed Forces. Around 1,450 military drivers are trained annually across five locations. Development and production take place in Berlin.
Contact
We analyse your requirements and show how the simulation system integrates into your driver training – flexible, individual and mission-oriented.
Evaluation
The simulator records every drive in full and assesses it objectively – from a single braking manoeuvre to the training progress of an entire unit. Instructors immediately see what worked and what needs work.
Driving behaviour
Speed, acceleration, braking, steering input, lane discipline and distance – logged to the second.
Rule compliance
Traffic rules, blue-light privileges, right of way, signalling and seatbelt use are checked automatically.
Reaction & hazard perception
Reaction times to obstacles, gaze behaviour and decisions under stress are captured.
Vehicle and material care
Engine speed, gear changes, clutch and brake load, fuel consumption and the effect of payload.
