From the original vehicle to a training simulator
SIFAT develops and manufactures in Berlin. For vehicle types not yet available as a simulator we build prototypes: real cabin or replica, original controls, verified driving physics and MR integration. Your unit's instructors accompany every iteration until behaviour, fields of view and control logic match the original.

What we build as a prototype
Replica cockpit
When no vehicle can be released: a dimensionally accurate replica of cockpit, seating position and controls.
Driving physics model
Mass, axle loads, drivetrain, terrain and load behaviour are modelled and matched against real data.
MR integration
Mixed reality links real controls with the virtual environment – hands and cockpit stay visible.
Mission specifics
Superstructures, warning systems, crane, medical or command modules are added as their own control logic.
Region & location
Terrain, climate, traffic rules and operational areas of your region feed into the prototype.

Evaluation
Every drive is evaluated
The simulator records every drive in full and assesses it objectively – from a single braking manoeuvre to the training progress of an entire unit. Instructors immediately see what worked and what needs work.
Driving behaviour
Speed, acceleration, braking, steering input, lane discipline and distance – logged to the second.
Rule compliance
Traffic rules, blue-light privileges, right of way, signalling and seatbelt use are checked automatically.
Reaction & hazard perception
Reaction times to obstacles, gaze behaviour and decisions under stress are captured.
Vehicle and material care
Engine speed, gear changes, clutch and brake load, fuel consumption and the effect of payload.
