Truck driving simulator

Truck driving simulator for military and logistics units

Train drivers on heavy military trucks without tying up vehicles, burning fuel or taking risks: the SIFAT truck simulator reproduces the driving physics, cockpit and fields of view of your vehicle type – stationary, mobile or as a real cabin.

Why train truck drivers in the simulator

Heavy vehicles tie up equipment, staff and space. In the simulator you train more drivers in less time – with objectively measurable results.

True-to-vehicle physics

Axle load, centre of gravity, braking behaviour and gearbox are modelled per vehicle type and verified with your instructors.

No vehicle downtime

Operational vehicles stay available. Training runs in parallel with daily duty, independent of weather and workshop slots.

Practise critical situations

Load shift, evasive manoeuvres, steep gradients, aquaplaning and convoy spacing can be repeated as often as needed.

Manoeuvring and trailers

Reversing, trailer operation and narrow barracks or field camp entrances without any risk of damage.

Measurable progress

Every run is recorded, scored and reviewed in the debrief – comparable across drivers, units and locations.

Fuel and emissions

No fuel, no tyre or brake wear, no mileage – at consistent training quality.

Four steps to your own truck training facility

  1. 01

    Capture requirements

Vehicle types, drivers per year, locations and training objectives are recorded together.

  2. 02

    Survey the vehicle

Cockpit, controls and driving data of your truck are captured and reproduced in the simulator.

  3. 03

    Choose the configuration

Stationary, mobile in a container or as an original real cabin – matched to your space and duty cycle.

  4. 04

    Acceptance and operation

Instructor training, scenario package, assessment logic and support across the entire service life.

Frequently asked questions about the truck simulator

Which truck types can be reproduced?

All wheeled military trucks – from light transport vehicles and protected transport vehicles to heavy hook-loader systems with trailers.

Does the simulator replace real driving lessons?

It complements them. Fundamentals, hazard situations and repetitions run in the simulator; the final driving practice stays in the real vehicle – with far fewer real driving hours.

How many drivers can be trained per day?

Depending on the course objective, 8 to 14 drivers per simulator and day are common, because setup and vehicle changeovers are eliminated.

Can the truck simulator be rented?

Yes, for 7, 14, 28 or 56 days including setup, instruction and support.

Evaluation

Every drive is evaluated

The simulator records every drive in full and assesses it objectively – from a single braking manoeuvre to the training progress of an entire unit. Instructors immediately see what worked and what needs work.

  • Driving behaviour

Speed, acceleration, braking, steering input, lane discipline and distance – logged to the second.

  • Rule compliance

Traffic rules, blue-light privileges, right of way, signalling and seatbelt use are checked automatically.

  • Reaction & hazard perception

Reaction times to obstacles, gaze behaviour and decisions under stress are captured.

  • Vehicle and material care

Engine speed, gear changes, clutch and brake load, fuel consumption and the effect of payload.

Your benefits

  • Driving physics, cockpit and fields of view are mapped 1:1 to Military trucks & logistics vehicles.
  • Stationary runs at your own location – no training ground, no wear on vehicles.
  • Faster learning: scenarios repeat on demand, errors become visible immediately.
  • Objective assessment of every run, including driver file and debriefing.
