Accessibility statement
SIFAT Road Safety GmbH is committed to making this website accessible in line with BITV 2.0, the German Accessibility Act (BFSG) and EN 301 549. This statement covers sifat-military.com including all language versions (German, English, Spanish).
Issued on 17 September 2026 following an internal self-assessment against WCAG 2.2 level AA. Next review: September 2027.
Compliance status
- This website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Individual content may deviate; we review and improve continuously.
- The statement is based on an internal review of page structure, keyboard operation, colour contrast and embedded media.
Measures implemented
- Skip link to the main content at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator.
- Semantic heading structure, one main landmark per page and labelled controls.
- Alternative text for images plus text descriptions and a pause button for videos.
- Support for the system setting “reduce motion”: background videos and animations do not start automatically.
- Form fields with associated labels, direct error marking and announced error messages.
- Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels on mobile devices.
- The active language is exposed to assistive technology; content is available in German, English and Spanish.
Non-accessible content
- Embedded videos currently provide a text summary but not yet captions throughout. Captions are being added step by step.
- Some PDF documents (e.g. the sample driver file) are not yet fully tagged for accessibility. We provide the content in an accessible format on request.

Testing method and planned user tests
- The basis is an internal self-assessment: automated checks of every page (contrast, structure, labels) plus manual testing of keyboard operation and focus order.
- A documented test with screen reader users (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) is planned as the basis for the BFSG conformity declaration.
- Every review is logged and this statement is updated afterwards.
